Wow, it's been a busy week so far - sorry this has taken so long. For your viewing pleasure tonight, a peek at Gregg's birthday party!
Gail & Grant made the cake: angel food with vanilla frosting, topped with strawberries. So tasty! This is what the pastry chefs did when I said, "Make any face you want":
Grady was a riot - he danced during the singing of the Happy Birthday song... he was desperate for Gregg to open the gifts ("don't open the card, Dad! can we open the presents now???")... he skipped the cake entirely and went for the strawberries instead.
Among the gifts: a brightly-colored plastic Happy Birthday mug (into which Gregg immediately poured his beer!), handmade flower pots, and a weather station (how did you know he wanted that?!)...
