So says my fortune cookie, at least.
I'm sitting downtown in Pioneer Square waiting for dusk. When is dusk, really? I've been wondering for weeks.
Tonight at dusk, they're showing The Goonies, a movie I haven't seen since I was a little kid. Which may explain why I'm sitting here with my blanket and chinese takeout while the kid sitting next to me continually steps on my toes.
It has been a hell of a week. Last night, I launched my first online learning course. I pulled it together on time and as expected, but not without a considerable amount of overtime. That, another major project, and some big shakeups at work have left me stretched pretty thin. But I meant to catch a Flicks on the Bricks event last summer and missed 'em all - honestly, these are the kind of things I love about this city - and I'd rather be outside than anywhere else tonight. So here I sit, relaxing, trying to protect my toes, waiting for dusk.
[No, I'm not going to tell you my dearest wish. Don't be silly; then it won't come true. Don't you know how these things work?]
