Last Sunday, I hiked the Ten Falls Loop (Trail of Ten Falls) in Silver Falls State Park with my new coworker. It's 7 or 8 miles (I read it was 8 miles but it didn't feel like it) of pretty easy-going hiking - it was a great way to stay cool on a day that hit over 90 in Portland. I can't remember ever having the chance to walk behind a waterfall before.
Autumn's in the air here! Coming soon: How I Spent My Summer Vacation.

Oh goodness...your photos are magnificent. How neat would that be to hike behind a waterfall.
